UX/UI Designer

As a UI/UX Designer at Caterpillar Inc., your role involves collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences for customers. You will collaborate closely with the UX team in India and work with cross-functional product and development teams to deliver UI mock-ups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. By understanding user needs and behaviors, you will create functional and visually appealing features to enhance the customer experience, making a direct impact as the voice of the customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct extensive user research including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics to comprehend user needs and behaviors. - Develop user personas, prepare user journeys, task flows, and conduct competitive analysis. - Create sitemaps, user flows, and information architecture to define product structure and navigation. - Design high-fidelity visual designs aligning with brand guidelines and iterate based on user feedback. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, present design ideas, and articulate design rationale. - Mentor junior UX designers, provide feedback, and guide skills improvement. - Identify design gaps, advocate for user needs, and propose design solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong UX Design Fundamentals with a minimum of 7 years of experience in user-centered design principles and usability testing. - Expertise in tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. - Problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions and proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD. - Research skills to conduct qualitative and quantitative user research methods. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present design concepts effectively. - Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior designers.
