SOC Lead Job Description Security Operations Center (SOC) team lead to manage a 24x7x365 team of security professionals to detect, monitor, respond, and remediate threats Ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring. Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives. Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs. Responsible for team & vendor management, overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for Security Operations Center Management, administration & maintenance of security devices. Perform threat management, threat modelling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring. Responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM. Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to Sr. Mgmt. Co-ordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them. Identify SOC capability enhancement ideas for increased detection and remediation. Lead incident response teams, advise and coordinate with senior leadership during active incidents. Define protocols and maturing playbooks of operational response to cyber threats. 8-10 years of Cybersecurity, Continuous Monitoring and SOC Operations experience. 3-4 years of SOC Tier III Level Incident Response Experience. Manage the escalation process for SOC operations. Experience in ArcSight SIEM / AlienVault SOAR technology and conceptual Threat hunting is desirable. Strong Communication skills.

NFQ Level 7+ Work Exposure or Professional Experience 1. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Information Security with at least 5 years in Security Operations. 2. Professional certification like CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, CEH. 3. Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects. 4. Knowledge of systems and software engineering to optimally integrate subject expertise in software solution designs. 5. Excellent recordkeeping, as well as written and verbal communication skills. 6. Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. 7. Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Skills required (Soft & Technical) 1. Security Operations, Security Architecture. 2. Knowledge of Security Portfolio and Operations.
