Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Be a customer advocate and identify opportunities to improve the overall experience of Allegis Global Solutions Intelligent Workforce Platform (IWP), impacting our customers, producers, suppliers, and extended partner community
• Work with key stakeholders and product owners to envision assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to determine appropriate design methodologies for getting customer input pre and/or post-launch
• Observe the tests and help to communicate the findings and recommendations.
• Develop sketches and wireframes for desktop, tablet, and mobile to show screen flow, navigation, and interaction details.
• Present design concepts to cross-divisional teams, explaining the purpose and rationale with a willingness to iterate.
• Create and/or coordinate the development of prototypes to get customer (and possibly employee) feedback early in the development process, iterating original concepts based on findings and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain detailed user interface requirements and work with business analyst team members to document requirements, ensuring scenarios are worked through.
• Develop and maintain a design system for iconography, typography, visual assets, and more, ensuring usability by Product Managers for prototyping. Use existing qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., web metrics, a/b test results, third-party research, consumer profiles, etc.) to inform designs and solutions.
• Work with the Product and Delivery teams to determine post-launch success metrics and use the data to suggest improvements.
• Manage the user experience throughout your projects' development cycles, ensuring a well-thought-out product comes to fruition.
• Analyze user interface problems and create solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
• Perform thorough user acceptance testing, clearly describing issues and opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• BA or BS in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design (UX preferred or equivalent professional experience)
• 4+ years of relevant experience with a blend of web and application design, information architecture and/or user experience working with consumer websites and/or applications
• 4+ years of experience designing (visual, UX/user experience, and wireframing) innovative websites, applications, and/or user interfaces
• Proven outstanding user interface design skills with an acute problem-solving ability.
• Strong, demonstrated understanding of user-centered design.
• An understanding of fundamental design disciplines such as typography, layout, color, and animation.
• Knowledge of user experience testing and analysis, ideally conducting, observing, and documenting usability tests and prototyping
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of underlying technical concepts and front-end development (XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, React, etc.)
• Proficiency with several graphics tools (Figma, Mural, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 productivity suite
• Demonstrated experience working in a virtual team environment, as well as the ability to work independently
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills that enable the ability to take requirements from a business user and implement them within the SDLC process
• Must be flexible with an ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, or work items concurrently while meeting prioritized deadlines
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and learning on the fly
• Flexibility and adaptability outside the assigned core responsibilities
• Staffing industry experience is a plus
