About the Role:

Technical Manager

Role & responsibilities:

1. Fleet Availability & Operational Uptime

• Ensure maximum availability of machines/equipment across depots.
  
• Monitor downtime, minimize suspension days, and drive operational uptime.
  

2. Maintenance Efficiency & Cost Management

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  
• Optimize maintenance costs while ensuring safety and reliability.
  
• Reduce hard down cases through proactive planning.
  

3. Utilization & Performance Monitoring

• Track machine utilization depot-wise.
  
• Ensure consistency in performance and efficiency standards.
  
• Identify underperforming assets and recommend improvements.
  

4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels and reconciliation accuracy.
  
• Ensure compliance with stocking norms and availability of spares.
  
• Drive efficiency in spare parts planning and usage.
  

5. Technical Reporting & Monitoring

• Handle sensitive technical and operational data, including:
  
• Machine utilization reports (depot-wise).
  
• Maintenance cost and downtime records.
  
• Spare parts inventory & reconciliation reports.
  
• Root cause analysis of breakdowns/failures.
  
• Technician productivity & performance reports.
  
• Prepare periodic reports and recommend process improvements.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience:

  3035+ years overall with at least

  4–5 years in a similar Technical Manager role

  .

• Qualification:

  Diploma & B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile).
• Proven track record in managing fleet operations, preventive maintenance, and technical reporting.
  
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
