Job Title:

MS SQL DBA Engineer Cloud Migration Specialist (Client: Confidential)

Job Overview:

confidential client

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain SQL Server databases (2016–2022).
Design, implement, and execute database migration strategies (Azure GCP / On-Prem Cloud).
Optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning, and refactoring techniques.
Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views.
Implement and monitor backup/restore, replication, and Always-On configurations.
Work with GCP services – Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, IAM, Storage, VPC.
Automate DBA tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate database CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

SQL Server administration & development

Nice to Have:

Google Database Migration Service (DMS)

Education:

B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
