Senior Product Developer

Role Overview:

As a Product Developer Umwelt.Ai, you will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performing solutions. You will work directly with the CEO and COO to enhance our AI-driven platform and ensure seamless scalability, security, and reliability. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling this architecture while integrating AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and optimize Django-based multi-tenant systems ensuring scalability and performance.
• API Development: Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs for seamless frontend backend communication.
• Database Management: Optimize MongoDB queries, implement indexing, and ensure data integrity for efficient storage and retrieval.
• AI & Data Processing: Integrate AI-driven NLP models and analytics into our platform to enhance user insights.
• Task Automation: Develop and optimize cron jobs to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage services on Github and AWS, leveraging Kubernetes, Jenkins, VPCs, S3, and EC2.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all backend services adhere to ISO 27001, GDPR, and AWS security best practices.
• Code Quality & Testing: Maintain clean, well-documented code with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and AI teams to deliver robust features.

• This role may also involve mentoring and guiding backend team members, ensuring they follow engineering best practices and deliver high-quality work.
• You will be responsible for reviewing code, validating product features and ensuring technical consistency across the team.
• Manage workload allocation, task prioritization and sprint planning to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery across projects.
• Provide technical leadership, problem-solving support and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
