Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Gather and document requirements and convert them into clear test cases.
Design, execute, and maintain manual test plans.
Perform functional, regression, sanity, exploratory, and UAT testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Prepare detailed bug reports and track them until resolution.
Collaborate with the developer and project manager to ensure product quality.
Prepare final UAT report and provide sign-off for release.
Continuously suggest improvements in testing processes and tools.

Preferred candidate profile

Basic understanding of web apps (HTML, CSS, SQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think from an end-user perspective.
Good written and verbal communication skills for requirement understanding and reporting.
Attention to detail and curiosity to explore what could break.”
Knowledge of SDLC & STLC concepts.
Familiarity with UAT process and ability to prepare UAT documents/reports.
Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar) is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a small team setup.
