Project Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Validation & Quality Strategy:

• Lead validation of

  real-time series and event frame data

  from multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with Tredence QA to define and implement a

  robust data QA strategy

  tailored for real-time ingestion pipelines.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data across the pipeline.

2. Application Testing (Python-Based):

• Review, understand, and test

  custom applications built in Python

  .
• Develop

  automated or manual testing frameworks

  as needed to ensure end-to-end functionality and robustness.
• Provide code-level feedback and validation of business logic.

3. Power BI Reports & HP-ALM Integration:

• Validate multiple

  Power BI reports tracked within HP-ALM

  .
• Ensure that visualizations are backed by correct data sources and reflect accurate KPIs.
• Automate regression tests wherever possible.

4. API Testing and Automation Frameworks:

• Test and validate

  API calls

  used across the project codebase.
• Design a

  scalable automation framework

  for API testing and data validation.
• Handle scenarios involving

  file-based data ingestion

  , ensuring integrity and proper handling.

5. Tooling and Collaboration:

• Strong working knowledge of

  HP-ALM

  for requirement tracking, test planning, and defect management.
• Use

  JIRA (integrated with HP-ALM)

  to manage project tasks, QA sprints, and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, data engineers, and QA leads from Tredence and Lilly teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong Python proficiency

  able to read, write, and validate complex codebases.
• Proven experience in

  data QA for real-time pipelines

  , particularly with

  timeseries/event data

  .
• Solid knowledge of

  API testing

  (Postman, Python, or equivalent tools).
• Familiarity with

  Power BI validation

  , especially in regulated environments.
• Experience working with

  HP-ALM

  , including test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle.
• Understanding of

  JIRA workflows

  and integration with QA processes.
• Experience working in

  regulated or healthcare domains

  is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in writing Data validation automated scripts in Databricks.
• Hands-on experience in

  real-time data platforms

  like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or OSIsoft PI is a bonus.
• Ability to work in a

  cross-functional Agile team

  , managing multiple data sources and stakeholders
