Job Description

Urgent Required Assistant Manager in International Freigth Forwarding Company- MNC located at Mundhawa Pune.

Role & responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales head in developing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify sales opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to set sales targets and define sales territories and quotas.
  • Support the Sales Manager in managing the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and customer meetings.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure efficient sales processes, including order processing, pricing, and contract management.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, sales pipeline, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Sales Manager.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist the sales team in managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to provide insights on sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.

  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage sales activities, customer interactions, and sales opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to the Sales Manager for sales process improvements and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate sales strategies, targets, and performance updates to the sales team and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and management, conveying feedback, challenges, and opportunities.
