Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Engineer / Application Engineer to drive business growth through sales, technical consultation, and business development. The ideal candidate should have a technical and commercial background, strong communication skills, and a track record in sales within the automation and robotics industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify and engage potential clients for automation solutions and special-purpose machines. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competition insights. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Travel to meet potential and existing clients to understand their requirements. Present customized automation solutions and build strong client relationships. Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution. Sales & Negotiation: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract closure. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and technical-commercial discussions. Handle tenders and proposals for high-value industrial projects. Technical Consultation & Solution Design: Provide technical expertise on automation solutions, including welding, handling, and assembly line applications. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations. Assist in designing custom-made solutions based on client requirements. Ability to quickly develop concepts in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, or CATIA to provide prompt responses to customers. Capable of delivering rough sketches of concepts immediately to clients for quick decision-making. Team Collaboration & Brand Representation: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to align sales strategies. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Desired Candidate Profile Experience & Knowledge: 3 to 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in industrial automation, robotics, or special-purpose machines . Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing industrial sales. Knowledge of automation processes, including welding, material handling, and assembly lines. Experience with tendering, contract negotiations, and high-value sales processes. Strong understanding of factory automation and the ability to conceptualize automation solutions efficiently. Ability to quickly create automation concepts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, or CATIA . Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to provide instant rough sketches of concepts for customer discussions. Skills & Attributes: Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with AutoCAD, 3D simulation tools, and industrial software is a plus. Team player with leadership and problem-solving abilities.
