Role & responsibilities

Position Objective

To ensure the efficient and smooth execution of all company projects, aligning with the organizations goals and mission. This involves overseeing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and delivery—ensuring completion within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee day-to-day project activities on behalf of the COO and client, ensuring adherence to defined parameters.
  2. Guarantee that project deliverables meet expected standards of quality, budget, timeline, scope, and risk.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to gather accurate estimates for their contributions to the project.
  4. Develop and finalize a unified project timeline that is approved by all stakeholders and the client.
  5. Maintain consistency and accuracy in the original project plan.
  6. Ensure daily stand-up meetings are conducted regularly.
  7. Confirm that all project tasks are accurately represented on the Kanban board in line with the original plan.
  8. Track progress and ensure alignment with the planned schedule.
  9. Resolve blockers and challenges within agreed timelines.
  10. Take ownership of unresolved issues that team members are unable to address.
  11. Maintain up-to-date documentation, including risk logs, issue trackers, and lessons learned.
  12. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders when required.
  13. Ensure that team members provide daily updates on their progress.
  14. Clarify tasks and expectations to the team to ensure proper delivery.
  15. Actively manage and mitigate project risks.
  16. Keep the project plan updated in real-time to reflect accurate completion forecasts.
  17. Ensure on-time delivery of the project with no delays.
  18. Implement a structured configuration management system.
  19. Ensure the team understands project boundaries and stage limits.
  20. Coordinate efforts to avoid redundancy or duplication of work across the organization.
  21. Coordinate with external vendors and account managers as needed.
  22. Inspire, lead, and energize the project team.
  23. Be open to assignments at different locations—onsite, offsite, client premises, or international—as required by management.
  24. Understand that this job description is dynamic and may evolve to meet changing business needs.
  25. Accept that management may assign different roles or responsibilities in alignment with company policy and employee development.
