Urban Planner

As an Urban Planner at our company, you will play a key role in shaping the future of urban landscapes. Your responsibilities will include: - Research and Analysis: - Conduct thorough research and analysis of urban trends, population growth, transportation systems, infrastructure, land use patterns, environmental factors, and economic conditions to understand the existing urban landscape. - Master Planning: - Develop and create long-term comprehensive plans for urban development, considering factors like land use, zoning regulations, transportation networks, housing, public spaces, and environmental conservation. - Community Engagement: - Engage with local communities and stakeholders to gather feedback, identify their needs, and ensure that urban planning decisions reflect the interests and aspirations of the people who live and work in the area. - Urban Revitalization: - Develop plans to revitalize and rehabilitate deteriorating neighborhoods or urban areas, fostering social equity and economic growth. - Data Management and GIS: - Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other data management tools to analyze spatial data, visualize planning scenarios, and present data-driven solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree in urban planning, urban design, or architecture. - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in urban planning. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience in managing the preparation of DP/RP/TPS and urban renewal projects. - Knowledge of urban planning principles, land use regulations, and sustainable development practices. - Familiarity with urban planning software and GIS tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. - A passion for urban development and improving the quality of life in cities.
