Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable English Faculty for UPSC preparation. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the UPSC syllabus, particularly for General Studies (GS) Paper II – CSAT (Comprehension) and Mains English Language , and should be capable of helping aspirants improve their reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills as required for the UPSC exam. Key Responsibilities: Teach English for UPSC Prelims (CSAT – Comprehension) and Mains (Essay, Language Paper, Answer Writing). Prepare and deliver lectures, presentations, and interactive sessions aligned with the UPSC syllabus. Design and review English practice questions, mock tests, and answer keys. Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback on comprehension and writing skills. Conduct answer writing workshops and sessions focused on improving articulation and clarity. Assist in content development such as articles, practice sets, and model answers. Stay updated with UPSC exam trends, previous year questions, and changes in the pattern. Mentor students for improving language proficiency and writing strategies. Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth classroom and batch management. Provide doubt-clearing support and individual academic guidance when needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, Journalism, or a related field. Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Prior experience teaching or mentoring UPSC aspirants is highly desirable. Familiarity with UPSC exam structure, especially CSAT and Mains English/Essay sections. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital teaching tools. Desirable Skills: Experience with content writing or editing for UPSC-level material. Ability to simplify complex ideas and engage diverse learner profiles. Strong understanding of UPSC evaluation criteria for English and Essay papers. Passion for teaching and mentoring future civil servants.
