Unreal Engine Artist

As an Unreal Engine Artist at our company, you will be an integral part of the VFX team, focusing on the creation of real-time cinematic visuals and environments using Unreal Engine. Your role will involve collaborating with artists, CG & VFX supervisors, and pipeline developers to produce high-quality, photorealistic content for feature films, commercials, and episodics. Your responsibilities will include creating real-time environments, lighting setups, VFX, and cinematic sequences within Unreal Engine. You will need to optimize assets and scenes for performance while ensuring visual quality is maintained. Additionally, integrating assets from tools like Maya, Houdini, or other DCC tools into Unreal will be a part of your daily tasks. You will be in charge of setting up and managing shaders, materials, and lighting to achieve the desired visual style. Collaboration with VFX, layout, animation, and compositing teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration across different departments. Troubleshooting technical issues in real-time rendering and contributing to tool and pipeline development will also be within your scope of work. Moreover, you will work on previs and virtual production workflows, including camera setups and real-time rendering. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working with Unreal Engine in a VFX environment. A strong portfolio showcasing your artistic abilities in color selection, materials, and lighting is required. You must possess a solid understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, PBR materials, and post-processing. Proficiency in using Blueprints, Sequencer, Niagara (for FX), and World Building tools is essential. Experience with asset import/export workflows from tools like Maya, Houdini, Blender, etc., is also a necessary skill. Being able to optimize scenes for performance while preserving visual fidelity is crucial for this position. Understanding virtual cameras, lens settings, and cinematic storytelling will further enhance your capabilities. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are equally important to succeed in this role.,
