Role Overview: Pixel is seeking a talented and passionate Environmental Artist to join their team. As an Environmental Artist, you will be responsible for creating stunning and realistic natural environments within Unreal Engine 5 for architectural visualizations and real-time experiences. If you have a keen eye for detail, a love for nature, and a strong understanding of environment creation workflows, this role might be the perfect fit for you. Key Responsibilities: - Create photo realistic natural environments within Unreal Engine 5, following landscape drawings with foliage, rocks, and water features. - Build realistic optimized assets and scenes for Stills, animations, and real-time experiences. - Collaborate with architects, designers, and other artists to achieve project goals and ensure visual fidelity aligns with project requirements. - Utilize and optimize photogrammetry assets and scanned data to enhance realism. - Texture and light environments to create immersive and believable scenes. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unreal Engine 5 and environment creation techniques. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience creating high-quality environments in Unreal Engine, preferably with demonstrable experience in Unreal Engine 5. - A strong portfolio showcasing realistic natural environments and strong artistic skills. - Proficiency in modelling software such as 3ds Max or Blender. - Excellent texturing skills using Substance Painter/Designer or similar tools. - Understanding of environment art pipelines and optimization techniques for large scenes and realistic quality. - Knowledge of lighting and rendering techniques within Unreal Engine. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
