AI Researchers

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, diffusion models) tailored for de novo drug design, protein-ligand binding prediction, and toxicity screening.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biologists, chemists, and data scientists to validate AI-generated hypotheses through simulations and wet-lab experiments.

- Analyze large-scale datasets from sources like PubChem, ChEMBL, and proprietary pharma databases to train and fine-tune models.

- Publish research findings in top-tier journals/conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, Nature Machine Intelligence) and contribute to open-source AI tools in the biotech space.

- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI for life sciences, such as multimodal learning and reinforcement learning for molecular optimization.

Qualifications

- Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, or a related field with interest in AI/ML for drug discovery.

- Interest in generative AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and domain-specific tools (e.g., RDKit, PySCF, AlphaFold integrations).

- Programming skills in Python; experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments is a plus.

- Interest in AI-driven drug design, such as virtual screening or ADMET prediction.

- Problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset and passion for translating research into real-world impact.
