JOB DESCRIPTION UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR
• Deliver group presentations and conduct individual interviews to provide guidance and support.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to assist students with academic and career
planning.
• Organize a series of family interview sessions starting from Grade 9 to foster collaborative
decision-making.
• Organize and schedule orientation programs and internships for students.
• Plan and organize University Fairs on Campus
• Create and update the school profile annually to reflect current achievements and offerings.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of student destinations, offers, and acceptances.
• Develop and regularly update an alumni database to track graduates' progress.
• Provide an annual report detailing student destinations and outcomes.
• Represent the school at relevant career and university conferences.
• Ensure that career and university resources are up-to-date and explore additional tools to
enhance these offerings.
• Manage and operate the Career Guidance Technology platform, engaging with students, staff,
and parents effectively.
• Participate in relevant workshops and training sessions to stay informed of best practices.
• Actively contribute to the BHIS school community with enthusiasm and initiative.
