Experience with multiplayer networking frameworks (e.g., Photon, Mirror, Unity Netcode). Understanding of multiplayer game architecture (client-server, peer-to-peer, matchmaking, lobbies). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or PlayFab) and multiplayer APIs. What You’ll Do: Develop, optimize, and maintain multiplayer features using Unity and networking frameworks. Implement game mechanics, UI systems, and animations to support multiplayer gameplay. Integrate and configure multiplayer systems using frameworks such as Photon, Mirror, Unity Netcode, or custom solutions. Design and implement client-server architecture and synchronization techniques for smooth multiplayer experiences. Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and multiplayer services. Collaborate with designers and artists to ensure seamless gameplay experiences. Optimize multiplayer features for performance, latency, and bandwidth efficiency. Debug and resolve multiplayer-related issues, including lag, desynchronization, and crashes. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
