Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Doctors Payout Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation of doctors’ payouts (fixed + variable/commission-based models).
  • Reconcile doctors' service records with patient billing and collections.
  • Coordinate with department heads and medical administration for validation of service logs.
  • Prepare detailed payout reports and share with finance and HR departments.
  • Handle queries related to payouts and ensure transparency and compliance.

2. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare MIS reports, unit-level P&L, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, receivables, and payables.

3. Billing & Revenue Reconciliation

  • Oversee daily billing and ensure reconciliation with hospital management systems.
  • Monitor and reconcile revenue reports with the billing department and finance systems.
  • Collaborate with the front office and insurance teams to ensure proper invoicing and claims.

4. Vendor Management & Payments

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budgetary controls.

5. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

6. Cash & Bank Management

  • Monitor daily cash collections and deposits.
  • Maintain petty cash accounts and ensure controls.
  • Reconcile bank statements regularly.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

    (MBA or CA Inter preferred).
  • 3-6 years

    of accounting experience, with

    minimum 1-2 years in a hospital setting

    .
  • Prior experience in handling

    doctors’ payouts and incentive structures

    is

    mandatory

    .
  • Familiarity with

    hospital billing systems (like HIS, ERP)

    is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of

    TDS, GST, and accounting principles

    .
