Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled UK Tax & Accounts Manager to oversee and review financial operations, taxation, and compliance for our clients. The role involves managing VAT, CIS, Year-End Accounts, and Corporation Tax with precision, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial capabilities, analytical expertise, and proficiency with modern accounting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review VAT Returns, CIS Returns, Year-End Accounts, and Corporation Tax.
• Ensure all filings and deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with UK regulations.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring effective workflow and productivity.
• Liaise with HMRC, auditors, and clients on financial and tax-related matters.
• Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Provide advisory support on tax planning and compliance strategies.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: ACCA / CA (preferred) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in UK tax, accounting, and compliance.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Dext, QBO (QuickBooks Online), Capium, and Xero.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
