UI/UX Graphic Designer-Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UI/UX Graphic Designer Intern to join our dynamic design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the visual and user-centric design of our digital products. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and developers to understand project requirements and design goals.
• Assist in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design visually appealing and functional user interfaces (UI) for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
• Develop graphic assets, including icons, illustrations, and other visual elements, that align with our brand identity.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving our design system and brand guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of graphic design and/or UI/UX projects (academic or personal).
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• A basic understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

Preferred:

• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
