Job Description

Position summary: We are seeking an experienced Web Designer with strong skills in front-end development, UX/UI design, and a focus on eCommerce. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS, Selenium, and be familiar with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server. This role will involve designing and developing user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance websites while ensuring an optimal experience for end users. Key Responsibilities: Design visually appealing and user-centric web pages for our eCommerce platform. Collaborate with development, marketing, and product teams to create designs aligned with business goals. Implement responsive web designs using Bootstrap , ensuring mobile-first approaches. Enhance user interaction and engagement by utilizing jQuery for dynamic UI elements. Style and maintain consistent and clean designs using CSS . Use Selenium to test and ensure cross-browser compatibility and functionality of web pages. Conduct regular user research and testing to improve site usability and customer experience. Stay current with web design trends, eCommerce best practices, and emerging technologies. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to clearly communicate design ideas. Collaborate with SEO teams to optimize design for performance and search engines. Work closely with developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end systems, particularly those built on ASP.NET , C# , and SQL Server . Implement A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve conversion rates. Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in web design, preferably in an eCommerce environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Bootstrap for responsive web design. Strong understanding and experience with jQuery for dynamic, interactive user interfaces. Expertise in CSS for designing clean, consistent, and accessible web pages. Experience using Selenium for web application testing and ensuring cross-browser functionality. Familiarity with ASP.NET , C# , and SQL Server preferred. Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma. Knowledge of UX/UI principles, web accessibility standards, and A/B testing methodologies. Preferred Skills: Experience designing for high-traffic eCommerce websites. Familiarity with SEO principles and web analytics. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments. Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
