Job Description

Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Bike Mechanic to join our operations team at Yulu. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Yulu's fleet of electric bikes (e-bikes) and scooters to ensure they are safe and functional for users. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of Yulu bikes. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in e-bikes and scooters. Repair or replace faulty parts (brakes, tires, battery components, etc.). Ensure proper battery installation and basic electrical safety checks. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Coordinate with the operations team to report recurring issues or request spare parts. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Occasionally assist with fleet deployment or bike redistribution when required. Requirements:Prior experience as a bicycle or two-wheeler mechanic preferred. Basic knowledge of electric vehicles or willingness to learn. Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors or in field conditions. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic literacy (reading and writing in local language or English). A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service. Preferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience in mechanical repair (bicycles, scooters, or motorcycles). Experience working with electric mobility or micromobility companies. Technical training or certification in mechanics is a plus. Work Hours:Flexible shifts (Day/Night) depending on operations. Occasional weekend or holiday work.
