Role Overview

The Sales Officer Construction Chemicals will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, and supporting institutional sales in the assigned territory. The role involves close coordination with dealers, contractors, architects, builders, and consultants to enhance market penetration, ensure product availability, and achieve volume and value targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution

  • Identify and onboard new dealers to expand market reach and improve depth of distribution.
  • Drive product sales to achieve assigned volume and value growth targets.
  • Ensure availability of the complete SKU range at key outlets and priority dealers.
  • Facilitate seeding and market introduction of new products in relevant channels.

Institutional & Key Account Support

  • Support institutional sales by engaging with architects, builders, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Assist in business development initiatives and key account management activities.
  • Contribute to planning and budgeting for institutional sales at the depot/territory level.

Dealer Management & Market Development

  • Train and support dealers to improve sales performance and achieve business goals.
  • Work on strategies that align dealer profitability with organizational objectives.
  • Address dealer concerns and resolve issues to ensure smooth business operations and long-term relationships.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist in implementing sales promotional schemes and marketing programs to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Support brand-building initiatives at the dealer and project level.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Conduct retail audits to assess market potential and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and prepare regular competitor analysis reports.
  • Compile and maintain monthly territory monitoring reports, including sales performance and market feedback.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education:

    Graduate with MBA/BBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.
  • Experience:

    4–6 years of relevant experience in construction chemicals, building materials, adhesives, waterproofing, or allied industries.
  • Local Candidate:

    Mandatory, with good knowledge of the local market.

  • Proficient in English and the local language.
