As a VMware and Nutanix Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and maintain VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) for enterprise-level customers. You will also lead and mentor a team of administrators, guiding them through daily operations and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi, along with advanced knowledge of virtual environments. Familiarity with Nutanix administration for hyper-converged infrastructure and integration with VMware is also required. Proven leadership skills, advanced troubleshooting expertise, and experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerCLI, Python) are essential for this role. You should also be willing and able to work during US business hours, supporting international teams and clients. Desirable skills include experience with vSAN, vSphere HA, vMotion, and other VMware technologies, exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for hybrid cloud infrastructure management, knowledge of storage and backup solutions within VMware environments, and familiarity with Nutanix Prism and AHV for managing virtualized environments.
