Job Description

Position:

we are committed to advancing the science of lubrication to reduce friction and wear in machinery across various industries. Our innovative products and solutions are designed to provide our clients with the highest performance and sustainability standards.

We are looking for a skilled Tribologist to join our research and development team to help us continue our tradition of excellence in creating advanced lubrication solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret data from tribology experiments and real-world applications to understand wear mechanisms and lubricant performance.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers, and product managers to develop new products and improve existing ones.

3. Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including troubleshooting and recommending lubrication solutions for specific applications.

4. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in tribology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to product development.

5. Design and conduct experiments under simulated service conditions to evaluate the performance of lubricants under various environmental and operational parameters.

6. Operate and maintain specific tribological instrumentation for testing wear and load performance of lubricants, such as pin-on-disk, four-ball testers, and rheometers.

7. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on Tribology.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tribology or lubricant research and development in an industrial setting.

- Strong understanding of the principles of tribology, lubrication, and material science.

Demonstrated experience with tribological testing instruments, such as pin-on-disk, four-ball testers, SRV, rheometers, and other related equipment.

- Proficient in the use and maintenance of instrumentation for evaluating wear, friction, and lubrication properties of materials.

- Experience with experimental design and statistical data analysis.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.

- A proven track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to lubricants and tribology.
