- Guiding the trainee for their smooth handling of projects.
- Performing experiments on daily basis for the preparation of organic compounds.
- Monitoring reactions by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC).
- Reaction workup and isolation of organic compounds.
- Purification of organic compounds using Preparative TLC, Column Chromatography, Distillation and Crystallization & Precipitation.
- Understanding the principles of characterization of organic compounds using modern spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, Mass Spectrometry etc.).
- Documentation of experimental observations in accordance with SOPs and procedures.
- Following all SOP/Procedures and safety requirements recommended by the organization to maintain the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
