Research Executive

Job Summary:

Responsible for the design and development of fluorescent immunoassay-based lateral flow diagnostic kits for diverse biomarkers and infectious diseases. Oversees preparation and maintenance of product documentation including Design History Files (DHF), SOPs, and related technical records. Demonstrates strong scientific capability in planning, executing, and interpreting experimental studies. Possesses expertise in immunofluorescent bead technology and its application in diagnostic kit development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fluorescent immunoassay-based lateral flow diagnostic kits for different biomarkers and infectious diseases.
• Select and optimize immuno-fluorescent beads and reagents for enhanced assay performance.
• Plan, conduct, analyse, and interpret experimental studies and feasibility evaluations.
• Support scale-up, validation, and product performance improvement activities.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain Design History Files (DHF), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and other technical records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Regulatory Affairs for successful product development.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality management guidelines throughout product lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot assay issues and provide timely technical resolutions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of immunology, assay development techniques, and lateral flow technologies.
• Hands-on experience with immuno-fluorescent beads and diagnostic reagent optimization.
• Excellent analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple research activities and deliver results within timelines.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills aligned with regulatory requirements.
  

Education:

• Masters degree or higher in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Prior experience in IVD product development or lateral flow assay design is highly preferred.
