Job Description

Job Description: Rapture Holiday is seeking an experienced and passionate Trek Leader to join our team. As a Trek Leader, you will be responsible for leading trekking expeditions, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent leadership skills, outdoor expertise, and a deep love for nature and adventure.

Responsibilities:

Lead and guide trekking expeditions in various locations, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants
Conduct pre-trek briefings, including safety protocols, equipment requirements, and route details
Plan and organize logistics for treks, including accommodation, permits, transportation, and meals
Provide expert guidance on trekking techniques, environmental conservation, and local flora and fauna
Monitor and assess the physical fitness and capabilities of participants, adjusting the trek itinerary if necessary
Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm throughout the trek
Act as a liaison between participants and local communities, fostering cultural exchange and respect
Handle any emergencies or medical situations that may arise during the trek, following established protocols
Ensure adherence to environmental and ethical guidelines, promoting responsible trekking practices
Conduct post-trek evaluations and gather feedback from participants to improve future expeditions

Qualifications:

Minimum of 06 months of experience as a Trek Leader or in a similar role
Basic knowledge and experience in trekking and outdoor activities, including navigation, first aid, and survival skills
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
Extensive knowledge of trekking destinations, trails, and safety protocols
Physical fitness and stamina to endure long treks and challenging terrains
Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
Passion for adventure, nature, and environmental conservation
Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
