Treasury Executive

As a Treasury Executive at Wiley, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with global accounting policies and procedures. Reporting to the Manager - Treasury, your responsibilities will include: - **Preparing standard monthly journal entries** - **Conducting timely bank account reconciliations and resolving reconciling items** - **Ensuring all relevant SOX controls are in place and functioning properly** - **Generating standard reports and account analyses using advanced Excel/Access database skills** - **Supporting ongoing business needs to facilitate timely decision-making** - **Identifying and implementing process improvements** - **Providing ad-hoc support to team members and helping prepare documentation for new processes** - **Participating in process improvement initiatives** Qualifications required for this role include: - **Bachelors degree in accounting** - **Not more than 3 years experience in accounting** - **Understanding of treasury and general accounting transactions and processes** - **Strong understanding of general accounting principles, concepts, and processes** - **Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines** - **Proven success in identifying and implementing process improvements** - **Strong transactional and reporting experience in an ERP application** - **Advanced Microsoft Excel & Access Database skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and macros** - **SAP experience** - **Strong written and oral communication skills** - **Strong organizational and analytical skills** - **Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships** - **Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks** - **Compliance with all company policy, rules, and procedures for Health & Safety** About Wiley: Wiley is a trusted leader in research and learning, with a focus on empowering knowledge-seekers to tackle the world's most pressing challenges.
