Travel Sales consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell international travel packages, tours, flights, hotels, visas, insurance, and other travel products.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable travel options and itineraries.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• follow up with prospects and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize repeat business.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, airline rules, visa requirements, and pricing.
• Build partnerships with travel suppliers, hotels, and tour operators.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, itineraries, and booking confirmations.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Handle client complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in travel sales, ticketing, or customer service (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and manage multiple clients.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Sales-driven mindset with a passion for the travel industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
