As a Manager Travel Desk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee travel to ensure a cost-effective and seamless experience. Your role will involve strong vendor management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate travel data and MIS reports. - Travel Coordination: Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for employees, both domestic and international, including booking tickets, hotels, and ground transportation. - Vendor & Partner Management: Foster strong relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and cab vendors to secure best rates and service quality. - Employee Service Orientation: Provide timely and courteous support to employees for any travel-related queries and issues. - Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure all travel bookings align with company travel policies and budget guidelines. - MIS & Reporting: Maintain precise travel records, generate periodic MIS reports, and monitor travel expenses for management evaluation. - Cost Optimization: Engage in negotiations with vendors for competitive pricing and implement cost-saving strategies. - Issue Resolution: Address escalations and efficiently resolve travel-related problems. Qualifications & Experience - Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred. - Experience: 6-10 years in travel desk management or corporate travel operations. - Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and administrative abilities, proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools, knowledge of travel policies, vendor management, and cost control.
