Transport Coordinator

Role & responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation operations. Develop and manage efficient transportation schedules and routes. Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving strategies. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, specifically for women employees Supervise and manage transportation staff, including drivers and support personnel. Address employee complaints and escalate urgent matters to Admin Manager. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including trip logs, expenses, and incidents. Optimize vehicle utilization and fleet management. Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of vehicles to minimize downtime. Implement and oversee tracking systems for real-time fleet monitoring. Manage vendor and supplier relationships for transportation needs. Develop and implement improved transportation procedures. Ensure adherence to safety standards and transportation SOPs Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant work experience in same field. Proven experience in transportation management and operations. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in transportation management software and tracking systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
