Transport Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Transportation & Routing:

  Plan, coordinate, and manage transportation routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of petrochemicals and gases .

• Order Fulfilment:

  Oversee the complete order cycle from order preparation and processing to dispatch and final delivery at plants.

• Communication & Coordination:

  Serve as a primary point of contact, facilitating clear and effective communication with suppliers, customers, carriers, and internal teams.

• Documentation Management:

  Prepare, review, and maintain all relevant logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Issue Resolution:

  Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth supply chain performance

• Process Analysis & Optimization:

  Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance service quality and reduce operational costs.

• End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

  Manage and coordinate activities across the entire supply chain and production planning to distribution and delivery .

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills:

  Ability to prioritize critical logistics involving hazardous materials and adhere to strict delivery timelines .

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:

  Capable of assessing risks, optimizing transport routes, and responding effectively to operational and safety-related issues.

• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  Skilled in coordinating with drivers, plant operators, suppliers, and regulatory authorities .

• Industry-Specific Software Knowledge:

  Familiar with logistics systems used in petroleum and gas industries for tracking and monitoring the fleets.

• Safety & Regulatory Compliance Knowledge:

  Understanding of standards such as HAZMAT protocols, HSE guidelines, and environmental compliance for petrochemical transport .

• Educational Background:

  Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related degree is preferred; experience in petrochemical or gas logistics is highly advantageous.
