We are hiring on behalf of one of our global technology clients. The organization operates at scale across multiple regions and is seeking Translation Experts responsible for translating audio content into high-quality text in their native or proficient language.

Role Description

The Language Translation Expert will be responsible for translating audio content into high-quality text in their native or proficient language. This role requires strong linguistic understanding, cultural fluency, and the ability to deliver accurate, contextually correct translations.

The project involves translating recorded audio, ensuring clarity, consistency, and preservation of meaning. Candidates must be detail-oriented and comfortable working with long-format audio content.

Engagement Terms

1. Role: Direct Contractor with the client
2. Location: Remote (Work from home)
3. Pay Rate: ₹500 per working hour

(Note: One hour of audio typically requires ~4 hours of translation effort. Compensation is based on actual working hours, not per file.)

1. Requirement: Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

1. Translate audio content into accurate, high-quality text in the target language
2. Maintain meaning, tone, and context throughout the translation
3. Ensure cultural and linguistic correctness
4. Review and proofread translated text for accuracy
5. Follow project guidelines and quality standards
6. Deliver assigned work within specified timelines

Qualifications

1. Native or professional-level fluency in one of the listed languages
2. Strong command over grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction
3. Prior translation or linguistics experience preferred (but not mandatory)
4. Ability to work with audio files and handle long-form content
5. High attention to detail and accuracy
6. Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in transcription or audio-to-text tasks
2. Familiarity with linguistic tools or translation workflows
3. Ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of work
4. Exposure to AI or ML data workflows is a plus
