Trainee Chef

Gracias Granny, a vibrant and growing Mexican quick-service restaurant, was founded two years ago and has recently expanded into a second location in Chembur. We're now looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Chef who is passionate about food and eager to learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you're someone who loves cooking, enjoys teamwork, and is excited about Mexican cuisine, we’d love to hear from you! Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of Mexican dishes as per Gracias Granny’s recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in daily operations including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen Learn to follow food safety protocols and proper handling of kitchen equipment Help with inventory checks, stock rotation, and kitchen organization Take feedback positively and work closely with senior chefs to improve skills Requirements: A strong interest in cooking and working in a professional kitchen No prior experience required, but any culinary background or training is a plus Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Discipline, reliability, and a positive attitude Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends as needed Why Join Us?
