Traffic Coordinator

As a Transportation Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing transportation routes for efficient and cost-effective operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing strategies to optimize transportation routes based on factors such as distance, time efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Collaborating with carriers and third-party logistics partners to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries. - Onboarding quality fleet owners regularly onto the platform and ensuring high standards of engagement by providing them access to quality loads. - Engaging fleet owners in fulfilling customer orders generated by the sales team and building strong working relationships to increase retention. - Monitoring and managing transportation assets" capacity, making proactive adjustments to accommodate fluctuations in demand. - Addressing transportation-related issues promptly by working closely with internal teams and external partners to find effective solutions. - Identifying opportunities for process enhancement and cost-saving initiatives within the transportation network. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and customer service to ensure alignment of transportation strategies with business objectives. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Passion for Logistics & Transportation Management with 1-4 years of experience. - Strong understanding of transportation modes, regulations, and logistics software/systems such as TMS and CRM. - Self-motivated individuals willing to take up challenges and make a difference. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated track record of client relationship management and servicing across corporate, institutions, and individuals. - A team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Please note that this is a full-time position with a work location in person. The salary range for this role is between 15000-35000/month. Experience in vehicle placement for 2 years is preferred.
