Trader - Pulses & Grains / Oilseeds / Spices

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive turnover through buying and selling of assigned commodities.

2. Source products under Residue Free, IPM, and Organic categories (NOP, NPOP, EU Organic).

3. Conduct procurement through mandi trading, auctions, and direct farmer/FPO linkages.

4. Develop and expand buyer network in domestic and export markets.

5. Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms to ensure profitable margins.

6. Maintain strong supplier and buyer relationships for sustainable business.

7. Monitor commodity market trends and identify trading opportunities.

8. Ensure timely execution of contracts, logistics, documentation, and payments.

Key Skills & Competencies

1. Strong expertise in [Pulses & Grains / Oilseeds / Spices] commodity markets.

2. Hands-on experience in mandi trading and auction systems.

3. Proven ability in both selling and buying functions.

4. Knowledge of organic standards and certifications.

5. Excellent negotiation, networking, and decision-making skills.

6. Ability to deliver on turnover and profitability targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree desirable but not mandatory.
• Mandi trading or commodity auction experience is essential.
• 2–6 years of experience in commodity trading.
• Exposure to domestic and international trade markets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
