Business Overview
Nomura s Securitized products team provides clients with a range of service including flow trading liquidity, financing, bespoke solutions, indepth market analysis, and unrivalled analytics. The team in Mumbai works with counterpart teams in Asia, EMEA and US. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for analysis, conducting research, to help our desk. The team assists in identifying and valuing bondspecific opportunities in the Securitization market. The Mumbai team also prepares reports/presentations on the various macroeconomic and regulatory themes that impact the market thereby providing an evolution of the desk s views regarding the same.

01 years of experience preferably in Securitisation Market covering ABS/RMBS/CMBS in European or US markets
Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree (Good to have: CFA/FRM)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support trading and structuring activities across various securitized products asset classes including MBS, ABS, and CMBS
- Analyse ABS collateral and deal structures and, where necessary, model cashflows
- Assist in pretrade analysis, deal execution and transaction monitoring
- Collaborate with sales, trading, and technology teams to enhance existing processes
- Help trading and sales desks in client presentations and market research initiatives
- Maintain various databases, pricing tools and deal models tracking deal performance, issuance, and market/macro trends; Design queries to analyse loan and deallevel performance.
- Selfstarter and ability to multitask under pressure and meet various deadlines. Strong team player and a quick learner.

- Prior experience in US or EU Securitization market covering ABS/RMBS/CMBS sectors
- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment concepts

- 2+ years of work experience as a data analyst or programmer
- 2+ year of knowledge of Database SQL including skills including queries and stored procedures
- 2+ years of Python/R
