Job Description

A Trade and Forex Relationship Manager at IndusInd Bank acquires and manages clients for trade and forex services, achieving sales targets for products like Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and forex contracts. This involves managing client relationships, understanding their needs, negotiating deals, and ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. The role also requires identifying cross-selling opportunities for other financial products, such as working capital and term loans. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    Acquire new clients for trade and forex services and manage existing relationships to deepen business and increase profitability.
  • Sales and Target Achievement:

    Achieve individual sales targets for products like Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Bill Discounting, and forex services.
  • Client Servicing:

    Provide daily support and service to clients based on their requirements, including handling inquiries and issues.
  • Product Sales:

    Sell a range of trade and forex products and identify cross-sell opportunities for other banking products like working capital and term loans.
  • Compliance and Operations:

    Ensure all activities are compliant with bank policies and regulations, and assist clients with onboarding processes and documentation.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience:

    Experience in business banking, treasury, or foreign exchange is preferred.
  • Education:

    A graduate or post-graduate degree from a recognized institution is generally required.
  • Skills:

    Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship management skills are essential. The ability to understand and customize financial products based on client needs is also important.

  • Client-facing:

    The role involves direct interaction with clients, including physical visits to sourcing channels like branches and DSAs.
  • Collaborative:
