Role Overview: The Global Data Scientist/Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data models, performing complex data analysis, unlocking the value of digital and non-digital consumer data, and providing actionable insights to enhance our channel/shopper insights capabilities and support the evolution of the consumer omnichannel experience. This includes building predictive models and analyses on consumer segmentation, shopping behavior, loyalty & subscription programs and ECRM & digital campaigns. The role requires a solid background in data science, including large datasets, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate analyses into actions to help guide business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Analyse large 1st and 3rd party datasets to extract valuable insights into consumer segmentation, shopping behaviour, loyalty & subscription programs, ECRM & digital campaigns, and journeys across different channels. Use advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns and correlations within digital and non-digital consumer data to inform business strategies and improve consumer experience. Develop and implement predictive automated models and statistical analyses to support personalised and segmented shopper and communication strategies. Manage multiple analyses/data science projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals. Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to non-technical and business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Clean and validate data to ensure uniformity and accuracy and identify opportunities to improve data quality, analytical processes, and overall efficiency. Qualifications: 4 years of experience in data science, of which at least 1+ doing digital analytics for FMCG. Proven experience with data analysis, statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling, working with large consumer datasets. Experience in creating and refining data models that predict consumer behavior and trends. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Experience with Digital/e-commerce datasets and analytics tools, such as ECRM and Google Analytics, is desirable. Preferable experience in the consumer goods or retail industries, with similar analytics projects. Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts and results to non-technical and business stakeholders
