Trade Operations Analyst - (US Market Hours)

Job Overview

The Trade Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting daily trading operations, ensuring smooth execution, accurate reconciliation, and robust research-driven decision making. This role requires technical expertise in Python, financial markets, and derivatives, combined with strong operational discipline. The candidate will collaborate with portfolio managers, developers, and clients to enhance trading processes, analytical capabilities, and execution performance.

Work Timing Requirement-

US Market Hours 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST

Key Responsibilities -

Trade Execution & Monitoring

• Execute equity and derivative trades across

  US Markets

  within defined strategy parameters.
• Continuously monitor live orders, fill rates, slippage, and trade compliance.
  
• Maintain end-to-end trade lifecycle accuracy through daily reconciliation and transaction-level record keeping.
  

Research & Portfolio Management

• Support the development and evaluation of trading strategies, including statistical analysis and backtesting.
  
• Assist in asset allocation decisions, position sizing methodologies, and portfolio optimization.
  
• Conduct quantitative and technical research to generate insights and performance improvements.
  

Time Series Database Management

• Build, maintain, and optimize financial time-series databases used for research and execution.
  
• Ensure data integrity, version control, and automated processing pipelines for historical and real-time datasets.
  

Execution Stack Development & Management

• Manage the ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement of the automated execution platform built on Python.
  
• Coordinate with developers to enhance functionality, reliability, and execution efficiency.
  

Client Relationship Management

• Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries related to reports, trade performance, research findings, and operational issues.
  
• Prepare periodic reports, analytics dashboards, and performance summaries as required.
  
• Understand client needs and ensure timely delivery of insights, data, and support.
  

Requirements -

• Beginner to Intermediate Python, with basic understanding of OOP Principles and real-time execution frameworks.
  
• SQL & Time-Series Database Experience (Data ingestion, transformation, and optimization).
  
• Strong domain knowledge in Derivatives trading, including options, futures, Greeks, volatility, spreads, and

  US market microstructure

  .
• Quantitative & Technical Analysis skills for strategy research and performance measurement.
  
• Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivoting, VBA/macros (preferred).
  
• Ability to work under market-driven time pressure with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
