Trade & Fx Counsellor

The Trade and Fx Counsellor role based in Mumbai within the Retail Banking business unit of Branch Banking department requires you to act as a primary contact for all trade-related products such as forex, cross border, and domestic services for the assigned region/branches. Your responsibilities will include acquiring and managing trade relationships, offering Fx services and support, and contributing to the overall branch banking objectives either as an individual contributor or by collaborating with the branch team. Your key responsibilities will involve driving product and marketing initiatives, addressing trade-related queries from clients by coordinating with various teams, achieving income and FCY targets for TFX products, managing portfolio quality metrics, supporting customer acquisition plans, conducting joint and independent calls with the sales team, providing training to the sales and relationship team, fostering relationships with individual and corporate customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient operations and service quality. Additionally, your secondary responsibilities will include evaluating growth strategies based on competitor analysis and customer feedback, suggesting process improvements for service efficiency and quality enhancement across the branch network, and keeping abreast of Trade and Fx transactions. Success in this role will be measured by revenue generation, cost efficiencies, and achieving the set targets for income and FCY through-put. To qualify for this position, you should be a graduate in any field with a preference for a post-graduate degree in Finance (MBA preferred). You are expected to have a minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in branch banking within the BFSI industry, particularly in Retail Banking.,
