Role Overview Lead our newest product line, Dista Markets, driving marketplace operations and growth. You'll work at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy to establish Dista Markets as the go-to platform for authentic Indian products globally in all the marketplaces such as Amazon.com (US), Walmart, Etsy & similar. Key Responsibilities Role: Marketplace Manager Location: Hyderabad Marketplace Operations & Strategy Develop marketplace strategy including category expansion, pricing, and competitive positioning Oversee catalog management, inventory optimization, and performance metrics/KPIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless platform integration Vendor & Brand Management Onboard and nurture relationships with Indian D2C brands and vendors Develop vendor success programs and negotiate commercial terms Ensure compliance with quality standards and brand guidelines Product & Customer Experience Define marketplace feature requirements and coordinate product enhancements Develop customer acquisition/retention strategies and promotional campaigns Monitor performance data and customer feedback for continuous improvement Cross-Border Operations Ensure compliance with international regulations across USA, UK, Canada markets Coordinate with logistics teams for optimized cross-border shipping Support currency management and international payment processing Required Qualifications: Experience: 4-6 years in marketplace operations, e-commerce, or vendor management with proven track record in online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel), e-commerce platforms, marketplace management systems, and understanding of API integrations Business Acumen: Strong grasp of marketplace dynamics, international trade regulations, pricing strategies, and digital marketing fundamentals Soft Skills: Excellent communication for vendor relationship management, strong project management abilities, problem-solving mindset for startup environments Preferred candidate profile MBA or advanced degree in Business/Marketing Experience with Indian D2C brands and cross-border e-commerce Knowledge of global payment systems and marketplace advertising tools Ready to help Indian brands conquer global markets? Role & responsibilities Required skills: - Prior lead experience within an IT environment - Minimum of 12 years of IT experience inclusive of: 3 years in a senior-level role 7+ years experience in TMS (any), Freight management systems/ Cross border business 2+ years’ experience as implementation/developer role - Experience with Supply Chain, Transport, freight, 3PL, retail etc - Proven project and process management skillset - Strong problem solving and decision-making skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate complex issues and the business value of solutions Responsibilities Lead technical responses to RFI/RFP Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes, document customer journeys, document high-level business requirements, and translate into specific technology solutions. Create and maintain application roadmaps and capability maps for designated business areas. Research and benchmark industry best practices and develop new strategies/solutions that can be implemented. Collaborate with IT delivery teams for designated business areas and IT Leadership to understand technical debt, areas of opportunity, and future recommendations. Work with leadership team for thought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, blogs and community involvement. Ensure that the roadmaps and technical recommendations comply with architecture standards, established methodologies, and best practices. 6-12 years of relevant experience in Payments (MT/MX messages, Clearing & Settlement etc.) space as a BA Experience on detailed mapping of the said message types pain.001, pacs.008, pacs.009, pain.002, MT103, MT202, MT202Cov etc. Experience of working on any Payment Engine such as GPS and international Payment Schemes such as SEPA Good understanding of different types of Clearing and Settlement methods Strong alignment with Agile ways of working Experienced in at least 2-3 Digital project delivery in large banks Core BA Skills Requirement Gathering/Management/Prioritization, strong in writing User Stories, strong with performing Gap analysis, Strong business acumen (not the IT side) Experienced in working with senior and cross geography stakeholders Strong communication and articulation skills Experience in working on Transformation projects (vs pure IT delivery or Process reengineering) will be preferred
