We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented FP&A Manager to join our finance team at a publicly listed company. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and stakeholder communication, and will play a key role in delivering insights that guide strategic decisions, ensure compliance, and support external reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis/ Business Finance
- Set up automated Analytics dashboards
- Work with different departments to understand business process and capture the impact on financials and financial reporting
- Identify process gaps impacting financial reporting and implementing changes to address the issues
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Drive business insights through financial reporting
- Translate complex financial data into clear business insights
- Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Deliver monthly and quarterly management reports, including P&L, cash flow, and variance analyses
- Work with Investor Relations team for quarterly results and analyst presentations
2.Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process across business units
- Partner with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals
- Support long-term and short-term financial modeling and business planning
- Provide financial inputs for strategic initiatives (e.g., pricing changes, new product launches, etc)
- Work closely with functional leaders to ensure accountability on budgets and performance metrics
- Lead the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast processes in collaboration with business
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, explain variances, and recommend corrective action
3. Public Company Reporting
- Support quarterly earnings cycles by providing analytical inputs for investor presentations, MD&A sections, and earnings call prep
- Work with Investor Relations, Legal, and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in public disclosures
- Assist in preparing materials for board and audit committee reviews
Requirements:
- MBA (Finance), CA, or equivalent financial degree
- 58 years of relevant experience in FP&A or corporate finance
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with Ind-AS and familiarity with public company financial reporting standards
