About the Role

Assistance in preparation of preliminary design of Track Alignment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Designing of Horizontal and Vertical Track Centre Line Alignment.
• Responsible for the preparation of Points and Crossings based on concept of operation.
• Creation and implementation of standard working procedures ensuring work execution as per SOD.
• Analyze each as built component with the tolerance to precede the construction based on redesign with the original tender design, also suggest the suitable solutions to avoid infringement during mass construction in terms of quality standards.
• Planning and co-ordination of day-to-day activities involved in Rail Track Design & Infrastructure Development project.
• Extensive knowledge of various design methodologies in Elevated Sections.
• Very good knowledge in Rail Design software about Swept Path Analysis, Regression Analysis and Drain.
• Responsible for preparation and review of Design calculation of Cant, Cant Deficiency, Cant Excess, Speed, Rate of change of Cant, Rate of change of Cant Deficiency and Transition.
• Responsible for quality checks/assurance for deliverables, review meetings and issue resolutions.
• Site Visits for interface & monitoring purpose to ensure construction activity and site condition.
• Collaborating with entire interface team like Geotech, Structure, Signal, Architecture, Utility, Traction, Rolling Stock and Multi Model Integration.

Qualifications

• Graduate (BE/B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum total experience of 10 years, out of which 5 years experience should be in relevant experience in Track Alignment of Metro projects.
