Tooling Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: As a Spare Parts Warehouse Tech at Valeo, you will play a crucial role in managing people, standards, continuous improvement, and contributing to successful new projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the application of safety rules in the spare parts warehouse, managing standards such as 5S implementation, spare part management system, and handling of spare parts, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives like proposing spare parts budget, inventory accuracy improvement, and spare parts procurement strategy. Additionally, you will contribute to successful new projects by participating in contract negotiations, standardization of spare parts, and ensuring availability of necessary spare parts. Key Responsibilities: - Manage people by ensuring safety rules are applied in the Spare parts warehouse and providing necessary training for the team - Manage standards by implementing 5S, establishing spare part management system, creating working instructions, and ensuring access to spare parts during production - Manage continuous improvement by proposing spare parts budget, implementing spare parts warehouse red box, improving inventory accuracy, tracking spare parts obsolescence, defining spare parts procurement strategy, and enhancing spare parts management system - Contribute to successful new projects by participating in contract negotiations, standardizing spare parts, alerting and building action plans for non-available spare parts, creating necessary spare part lists, requesting quotations for new spare parts, and integrating new parts into the handling system Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in warehouse operations, spare parts management, or related field - Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to warehouse operations - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively - Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications Join Us!
