Job Description

Role Overview: As a Tool Design Engineer, your primary role will involve designing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility, lead and guide junior engineers and toolmakers, review and optimize designs for cost, quality, and performance, as well as resolve tooling issues and support shop floor implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Design tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures utilizing CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). - Collaborate with production and quality teams to assess design feasibility. - Lead and guide junior engineers and toolmakers in the design process. - Review and optimize designs to meet cost, quality, and performance standards. - Resolve any tooling issues that may arise and provide support for shop floor implementation. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Tool Engineering. Additional Company Details: With 58 years of experience, the company expects you to bring a high level of expertise to the team. Experience in mold/die design is preferred for this role. Strong CAD skills, understanding of machining processes, knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing techniques, problem-solving ability, and team coordination skills are essential qualities required for this position.,
