Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool and Die Maker located in Pune. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, and molds. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, performing precision machining, ensuring the quality of final outputs, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. The role also involves close collaboration with the engineering team to optimize designs and improve production processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the operation and use of precision machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Expertise in tool and die making processes, including plastic injection mold and progressive press tool construction
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of dies, molds, and tools
• Strong skills in measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Attention to detail and high precision in machining processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• A diploma or certification in Tool & Die Making or a related field is preferred
• Experience in high-precision machining or tool fabrication is an asset
