Job Description

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of vehicles including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and vans - Transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles - Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a warehouse or delivery setting - Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including those with refrigerated trailers - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed for loading and unloading - Familiarity with navigating using GPS or maps - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
